9 to 5 the Musical!

Three women — an overworked office manager, a jilted wife, and an objectified secretary — conspire to depose their smarmy boss and begin making woman-friendly changes in the workplace. Based on the 1980 hit movie!

Nathan Correll played Joe, the dorky junior accountant who falls in love with Violet. It was his first staged production since COVID, and has helped recultivate his love for the stage.

Spirals and Dirt!

A new original musical! Spirals and Dirt was written by Sean Breen after he retired from teaching. “The musical Spirals and Dirt follows four students as they face their own, unique challenges. Peter writes in spirals. Lina struggles with her failing eyesight. Louis sees himself as not very smart, while Burtie is, well, grungy. On the surface it appears that each faces a different challenge, when actually, the challenge is the same: getting along in the world while still being true to who they really are.”

Nathan Correll played Peter, a boy who found himself writing in spirals after a traumatic accident on vacation with his dad. This production featured many wonderful moments of collaboration by the team as a whole as they fine-tuned and presented it for the first time in San Francisco.
